Private beachfront home complete with 20'x 40' swimming pool and the Pacific Ocean right outside your door with everything you need for a spectacular holiday on Maui.

Four bedrooms and five and one half bath/powder room offers plenty of space in the 2800+ square foot home. The second floor of this beachfront home is a large master loft suite with a king size bed and en suite bathroom with a walk in shower- perfect for a "get away" from the spacious downstairs living space.

Property can accommodate a total of 10 guests. There are four bedrooms on the ground floor:

The main floor downstairs features an open floor plan living space for your family to gather in the kitchen, dining area, ping pong room, and TV room which all share panoramic ocean views.

Historic Front Street is within 10 -15 minute walk, so if a little shopping or a tropical mai tai or a fresh island fish dinner is what you have in mind- a short stroll and you are there! The sandy beach is right in front of the home and is ideal for all your activities...whether it be a water sport in the Pacific ocean, the refreshing 20' x 40 ' private pool, or just lounging in a comfortable chaise.

Hale Lahaina is well equipped with stainless appliances, granite counter tops, hi speed wi-fi, a ping pong table, gas and charcoal grills, laundry facilities to make your stay comfortable. Hale Lahaina is a very special property where you and your family can make memories strolling the beach or watching the mesmerizing waves roll in backed by a Maui sunset.

  Home was perfect for family vacation of 7 adults and a toddler. Loved the location. Right on beach we were able to go out daily to see turtles and a couple seals playing. View was gorgeous. Home was well stocked in kitchen for anything you would possibly need. Home provided some snorkeling gear as well as lawn games and board games. Also a ton of books. The walk to town was not too bad.
  Only downfall was no AC. Fans are provided but still got pretty warm in house. Especially queen room that was in front of house, no breeze coming through. Cooler outside than in house.

  Checked all our boxes for our annual Xmas Getaway with our adult “kids”: 1) Space for everyone to be together AND apart:) 6 bathrooms were nice! Used them all:) Cooking facilitates and dining areas to cook meals in house. 3 refrigerators! Nice Grill! 2) Beach and View: Beach was nice- walkable, swimable in sandy sections plus the active turtle population was a much appreciated plus! Punctuated by Occasional seal visits as well, too. Sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. 3) Pool was decent size and refreshing! Big enough for floaties as we love to do ! Did not need heated pool on this trip! 4) Walkable to beach bars and a church— Quadruple check. Town of Lahaina is 1/4 mile down beach or road. Easy walk /great food options. Betty’s and Pacificos closest as is Lele’s Luau. Central location- easy to explore. 6) Privacy: To our delight it felt more private than anticipated. Neighbor John was nice- lots of company over holidays but the walkway back to his house next to pool is well landscaped and can’t see from pool- just beachside patio. Public beach- so some plunkers out front, but there is a wide swatch of lawn and plants between our front patio and the beach. Nice spot for bocce ball!
  
  Now the NI category: we managed fine without AC as they have ceiling, box and NICE tower fans in every bedroom - however it does get toasty in daytime. I totally understand that electricity costs are through the roof in Hawaii, though. Could use more large group pots and pans for cooking... maybe a crockpot? Grill cleaning brushes need to be replaced. No electricity in ping pong room.
  
  Outstanding vacation in a great house in perfect location. This is our 8th Xmas Beach vaycay and it ranks right up there with a Costa Rica trip for tied as our fav— Overall 5 stars.

  The house was nice and very spacious. We had ten women and there was plenty of room for everyone! The only down fall was there was no air conditioning. They had plenty of fans but it would get uncomfortable since there wasn’t much of a breeze at times. The twin beds could use new mattresses. The house was fully stocked with all your essentials for cooking, eating and drinking. The location was perfect! A five minute walk to shops and restaurants. The beach was a bit rocky, just wear beach shoes. The sunsets were beautiful. A very peaceful location, with space for kids to run around without having to worry about them. Would recommend to others.

  House had plenty of room for my family (children and spouses, and grandchild). Beautiful location. Right and Left Surf Break (Shark Pit) right out the back door and short walk to Lahaina. Great snorkeling. Pool and property was well maintained. Only negative, was no AC, but we also happened to stay during a hot week. House did cool down at night. We would return.

  There is no air conditioning, as posted in the description. The master upstairs gets a slight cross breeze when the wind blows in right direction otherwise house is hot. Every person complained about being too hot. There were fans in each bedroom. We weren’t comfortable leaving sliding doors in room where our children slept, and we locked downstairs doors/windows when we left the house. There is lots of foot traffic beach side of the house including campers, neighbors, and tourists from the resort down the street. People loved walking their dogs on the beach in front of the house. Beach was great for snorkeling (lots of coral and fish). Be careful where you step some of that coral is sharp.
  House management was responsive to our calls/emails. It’s a tropical island so bugs (mites, ants, roaches) are common; a routine extermination service might help control some of what we saw. Shake everything out to ensure you don’t take home any stowaways. We had a big problem with grain mites carrying away our food from the counters and kitchen table. Management company had bate traps brought to us mid-week which helped a lot. Use the fridge in the kitchen as a pantry - put your cereal/chips/bread crackers in there. Other 2 refrigerators were for the things that needed refrigeration (dairy/drinks/leftovers). We didn’t use kitchen for any cooking. Everyone was grossed out by the bugs, so we ate outside. Pool was cloudy the first 4 days. Someone before us put rocks and coral in the pool. You could not see the children under the surface. Pool man was friendly and helped get it cleared up by day 5.
  House is huge. Looked like photos (circa 1981). Plenty of space to spread out. Views of Lanai and sunsets were beautiful. Town was good 5 - 10 min walk; street is dark until you reach the Lahaina Shores Beach Resort where the sidewalk begins. Made some great memories here in Maui but for the cost I would probably stay somewhere else with air condition

  This property was AMAZING! The perfect location and house for all our needs. The home was perfect for our family of 10. All couples has their own room and bathroom! Pool was perfect and access to the beach was priceless. Walking to downtown Lahaina on beach or Front street was so much fun! House was very clean and tons of room. Also, fans everywhere made up for no air conditioning. I just hate we had to leave. We would 100 percent be back to this property.

  We have rented thus house for three years and always found it an excellent place for our family vacation. We love the location close to the town of Lahaina plus the pool at the house and the beach close to the backyard.
  
  Note to management: the dishwasher was not in working condition. The dishwasher door was unhinged and dangerous. The pool chlorine level was not appropriate on our second day, so we took care of it ourselves, and later worked with the pool maintenance person on his work schedule day.
  
  Note to cleaning crew: there was no extra paper towels for refill and not enough garbage bags. We purchased these items ourselves.

  This place was INCREDIBLE. The space, the proximity to the beach, the beautiful property, the "extras" provided...I can't rave about it enough. The home is dated, but I actually see that as a positive--it was cozy and felt like home, not some sterile hotel room. It was impeccably clean. There was space for many individual families to stay. The layout was great. There were sand toys, beach chairs, snorkel gear, lounge chairs, tons of games and books. And we saw and swam with TONS of turtles, two monk seals, bunches of tropical fish, and we saw WHALES right in front of our beach. The beach felt private, the water was clean and warm, the views were stunning. The pool was also excellent for a more "fresh water" swim. I hope to come back to Hawaii many more times, and this home will be top of my list!

  Beautiful location and the space was greatfor 6 adults and 4 children. Unfortunately the dishwasher wasn't installed properly and didn't clean the dishes. The refrigerator made great ice but the refrigerated part did not maintain temperature consistantly. We were unaware, but apparently the rental agent knew as the repair part was in the garage. The repair tech came early on our day of departure. Other services came early also (yard maintenance). We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the pool.
